Women on Boards ExCo Seeking Members

We are looking for Committee Members

Do you believe in achieving equality for women in governance and leadership? If so, consider becoming an Executive Committee member of Women on Boards New Zealand. We are the only women's organisation in New Zealand dedicated to women on boards. Women on Boards is part of Governance New Zealand, and its purpose is to increase gender diversity on all boards.

Women on Boards support women to advance their governance careers through education, training and connections. We host networking events, an annual conference and the hugely successful Women in Governance Awards.

We are seeking applications from women who are passionate about helping to achieve our purpose. You will be someone who is able to leverage your wide networks and connections, and provide hands-on support and strategic leadership to our small operations team. Ideally you will be experienced in governance and be enthusiastic and action orientated who understands the importance of diversity on boards. You may also have experience in PR, marketing, and social media.

We are interested in hearing from women living in the South Island and regional New Zealand.

Our pro bono Executive Committee meets five times per year (either face-to-face or Zoom), and the commitment from each board members averages around 2 hours per week.
