David Cunliffe MP

The son of an Anglican minister, David was born in 1963 in Te Aroha. He learned the values of social justice and hard work from his father Bill, who was active in the Labour Party and sparked David's interest in politics.
A Fulbright Scholar with a Master of Public Administration from Harvard, David understands the important role that education can play in unlocking new worlds of opportunities for young New Zealanders.
