Top Student Award for Anna

Each Semester, Chartered Secretaries New Zealand honours its top student based on highest overall marks attained. We are pleased to announce that our Top Student Award for Semester Two 2013 goes to Anna Gruczynska (pictured on right) from Christchurch.

Anna, who only commenced as a student with CSNZ's Professional
Education Programme at the start of Semester Two in July 2013,
completed Corporate Law and Corporate Secretaryship concurrently,
achieving Distinction in both subjects - no mean feat considering she
took on the two papers while also in full-time employment! This year,
Anna is studying Corporate Governance and Risk & Compliance. 

Anna has been working at Southern Response Earthquake Services
since May 2012 with her responsibilities including Board Secretariat, Shareholding Ministers and Stakeholder Liaison, and Executive
Support to the CEO.

Rosanne Hawarden, CSNZ Board Southern Electoral Representative, presented Anna with her award during the "Lunch with the Mayor" event that took place in Christchurch on 19 June.

A very warm congratulations to Anna on her achievement and we wish her all the best for her future studies.
