The Fonterra debacle brings rise to some of the issues surrounding corporate governance, and the first article below reports on the independent enquiry. This is followed up with a number of case studies, some New Zealand and some international, that make very interesting reading.

Fonterra's WPC 80 Report - lessons for all governors

The Fonterra Board recently took the somewhat unusual step of releasing the full report of its independent inquiry team into what has become known as the WPC 80 issue on 23 October 2013. We suggest that all those involved in the governance community from large to small enterprises, commercial and social enterprises take the opportunity given by the Fonterra Board releasing the Report to learn lessons from it for their own organisations.
