The modern boardroom thrives on diversity whether in experience, competency, networks, gender or ethnicity. These bring increased value to the boardroom through aiding discussion and deliberation. The decision to enter the board arena is made for many different reasons and while the call is for explicit diversity there is also implicit diversity through motive.
