Simpler company reporting reforms approved

Reforms simplifying and strengthening company reporting have been approved in the British Parliament. From 1 October 2013, annual reports will have to include additional information on human rights issues, gender representation across the organisation, and disclosures on greenhouse gas emissions.The main changes to the regulations include the introduction of a 'Strategic Report', which will apply to all companies and replace the previous 'Business Review'.
