New Zealand Institute of Architects - National Council Executive Administrator

The New Zealand Institute of Architects [NZIA] is seeking an Executive Administrator for administrative and corporate secretarial requirements, underpinning the work of the NZIA corporate governance requirements and support to the Council.

NZIA is based in Zurich House, 21 Queen Street, Auckland City. All the meetings are held in the Auckland office except for the May Council meeting and AGM held in Wellington in alternate years with Auckland.

The Executive Administrator reports to the Chief Executive and the appointee will liaise with the NZIA National Council and members of the Institute as required.

The role entails maintenance of the calendar of National Council and Annual General Meeting, arrangements and distribution of relevant council papers, coordinate Meetings, Strategic Planning Days and AGM meeting requirements. Responsibility for minutes of the Council Meetings, Strategic Planning Days and AGMs and it is anticipated that this will be not less than 6 meetings per year, along with maintaining an action register arising from Council meetings, AGM and Strategic Planning Days.
