Corporate governance still needs to improve in Asian markets

Corporate governance is still an issue of concern when investing in Asian markets and while international financial centres such as Singapore or Hong Kong have improved tremendously, there are still problems that need to be tackled.

A survey conducted by the Asian Corporate Governance Association ranked different markets according to its level of corporate governance. While Singapore scored 69% and Hong Kong 66%, they are still issues of concern.
