What Conflict of Interest?

New Zealand, as a country, prides itself on the ease of establishing a business - what this often really means is the ease of formation of a company. A significant feature of that ease of formation is that the minimal requirements for appointment as a director are principally that the nominees should be at least 18 years old and not be an un-discharged bankrupt or have been guilty of a number of crimes of dishonesty.
