Any business owner considering a sale asks himself or herself the fundamental question: " Do we really need an M&A advisor to help us sell this company? After all, we built this business. We know it better than anyone else. We know the competitors - which ones might be buyers and which ones are not buyers. We even have personal relationships with a lot of the players after years of competing against each other and attending the same industry functions.
