Women appointments to UK Boards increase

The number of women on the top boards of FTSE 100 companies in the UK has risen from 12.5% last March to 15.6%.

Thats the finding of a new report from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), Women on boards, published this week. The report is the first annual progress study on take-up against the challenges laid down in 2011 by the review panel led by Lord Davies of Abersoch.
