Corporate and Professional Development with ICSA modules in 2012

ICSA Qualifying Scheme Modules are recommended to Members, Affiliates and their Colleagues for consideration in advancing practical knowledge and experience, along with satisfying professional CPD requirements in 2012.

The Qualifying Scheme is a distance-learning programme presenting a range of modules in two 12-week semesters, each designed to provide applied practical experience over a range of corporate topics.

Semester One commences on 20 February 2012 with:

  • Corporate Administration
  • Corporate Financial Management
  • Corporate Governance

Semester Two commences on 16 July 2012 with:

  • Corporate Secretaryship
  • Corporate Law
  • Corporate Accounting

Each module qualifies for 75 CPD hours/points and a Completion Certificate is awarded on the successful completion of an individual module. A Credit will also be registered for candidates considering studying for the Associate Programme leading to an ACIS Post-Nominal, which is an internationally recognised qualification with portability on a global basis.

An In-house Workshop is held on a Saturday in each Semester for Students to meet Lecturers in person, and receive one-on-one tuition in working groups. An experienced Practitioner presents on a relevant topic to both Workshops. Semester One Workshop will be held on 31 March and Semester Two Workshop on 25 August. Attendance at a Workshop qualifies for a further7 CPD hours/points.

Employers are also recommended to review opportunities to introduce their Employees to the programme, so as to equip them with in-depth applied knowledge over a comprehensive range of topics to increase their effectivenessand contribution.
