ICSA General Meetings - London, Thursday 8 December 2011 : Chartered Governance Institute New Zealand

The Committee for New Zealand advises that the first General Meeting on Thursday 8 December to consider Bye-Law Amendments was adjourned at the Chairmans [Mr C Kane]direction. Mr Kane and most of the Members from the UK Division left the venue at that point.

The second General Meeting to consider resolutions for democratic representation was held under chairmanship appointed from the Meeting floor which passed the resolutions in favour of the Divisions. The second meeting and its decisions has not yet been recognised by ICSA.

Members will be advised on the proposed date of the adjourned meeting and the outcome of the validity of the second General Meeting. We are advised members' proxies qualify for any adjourned meeting(s).
