National Board Appointment

To all Members:
 
The Board is pleased to advise that Mr IAN FRECHTLING LLB, FCIS, MBA, has been appointed as a National Board Representative for the Northern Electoral Region at the March 2011 Board Meeting.
 
Ian is currently the Commercial Manager at Flotech Services Ltd, following extensive experience as Group Legal Counsel and Compliance Manager at Fisher & Paykel Appliances Ltd and leading the In-house legal function at Fisher & Paykel Finance Ltd, Metlifecare Ltd and Beca Carter Hollings and Ferner (where he also acted as Company Secretary to Beca Amec).
 
He completed his LLB at Victoria, an MBA from Henley and achieved Fellowship status in 2007. Chartered Secretaries has been favoured by Ian's contribution to our Education Programme and his contributions as a moderator, and presenter at both in-house and University events representing Chartered Secretaries.
 
We welcome Ian to the Board and look forward to his contribution to the Institutes affairs.
