Chartered Secretaries Welcomes its new Executive Officer

Dev Oza, the President of Chartered Secretaries New Zealand Incorporated (“CSNZ”) is delighted to announce that Bruce A Butler has been appointed to the role of Executive Officer of CSNZ with effect from 19 April 2010.  
 
Bruce Butler has had a diverse career to date and has previously acted as a managing partner of a professional accounting practice, chief executive and chairman of a publicly listed company, public company directorships and more recently a management and financial consultant with extensive experience in New Zealand, Australia and the United States of America.   He has been a member of CSNZ for more than 38 years.  
 
The Board of CSNZ is delighted to have attracted a candidate of Bruce’s calibre and experience to this position. President Dev Oza said “we look forward to working with Bruce to grow the Institute’s profile on governance and risk management issues with its various stakeholders in NZ and also to enhancing the internationally recognised educational qualification’s credibility and attractiveness”.
