Angus Ogilvie FCG FGNZ

Angus works as an accountant in public practice specialising in tax advisory and as a governance professional. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) and a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA). He completed a two-year term in 2023 as President of the New Zealand division of CPA Australia, one of the largest accounting bodies in the world. He chairs CPA Australia's New Zealand Tax Committee.

As a member of the Board of Governance New Zealand, Angus chairs the Education and Professional Standards Committee (EPSC) and the Audit, Risk & Finance Committee (ARP).

He is a strong advocate of advisory boards for SMEs and coordinates several in his professional role. He serves on a number of boards himself, including chairing the General Trust Board of the Anglican Diocese of Auckland.

He is an honorary life member of the Auckland Business Chamber.

Angus holds a Master of Tax Studies (Distinction) from the Auckland Law School. He has a Master of Business Studies (Hons) in Management and a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accountancy) from Massey University. In addition, he holds a Master of Arts (Hons) degree in Politics and a Graduate Diploma in Business from the University of Auckland.

Angus was elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of New Zealand in April 2023.
