Stepping into Governance

Governance Training Workshop for Ethnic Communities

Saturday 18 May 2024

Have you been working in NZ at Middle / Senior Level Management for more than 10-15 years?

Are you looking to step into senior management and leadership roles?

Are you keen to get into board governance - commercial or non-profit, but don’t know where to start? Or who to ask?

Then this workshop is for you.

The Chartered Governance Institute New Zealand is pleased to be presenting this governance workshop in support of the Migrant Careers Support Trust.

This one-day governance workshop introduces governance to the ethnic communities and will provide insight into being a board director on not-for-profit, commercial and public sector boards. The workshop will provide an overview of the fundamentals of governance, myths or common misconceptions about governance and provide practical learnings for attendees.

This workshop is designed for ethnic community leaders who are new to governance or looking to secure a board appointment or to progress a career in governance.
