NOVEMBER'S GOVERNANCE TOPIC

The Incorporated Societies Act 2022 – all the latest information you need to know.

Are you an incorporated society? The Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and Incorporated Societies Regulations 2023 came into force on 5 October 2023. Your incorporated society must re-register under the new Act between 5 October 2023 to 5 April 2026 or it will cease to be incorporated. This practical webinar will provide you with the latest updates and what you need to know to ensure compliance with the new Act and regulations. Don’t miss this important information session with Annie McGuinness from the team at MBIE.

This webinar will cover:

  • Compliance timelines
  • Summary of the key changes under the new Act
  • Summary of the new regulations
  • How to re-register and ongoing compliance requirements
  • Where societies can go to get further help and information

To get the most out of this webinar, we are providing attendees with an opportunity to submit a question about this topic before the Lunch & Learn webinar on 14 November 2023. Please email your question to info@governancenz.org and we will pass this on to our presenter, Annie McGuinness, who will provide a response during the webinar if time permits.
