EVENT CANCELLED - Corporate Social Responsibility - a panel discussion

Seminar

EVENT CANCELLED - will be rescheduled

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) involves companies taking on wider environmental and social objectives as well as their primary goal of making a profit.

CSR is a process that aims to embrace responsibility for the company's actions. It's undertaken to create a positive impression by reporting on the consequences of its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and the public at large. Sadly, most New Zealand companies have been slow to jump on the bandwagon according to research by the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility, with New Zealand companies falling behind their overseas counterparts.

However, we have assembled a panel of representatives from three companies in New Zealand who are actively and successfully implementing Corporate Social Responsibility policies and will share with you the benefit of their experience. Ensure you come along with your questions and ideas as the second half of this session will be of an interactive nature!
