Branch network

Governance New Zealand operates five branches throughout New Zealand. Each branch has a committee comprising of local members who organise events and provide support in their respective region.

Purpose of a Branch Committee

  • Represent the face of Governance New Zealand to local members and be available to support them
  • Organise local events eg CPD, AGM, networking and social
  • Develop contact networks for potential members – professional entry, fellow and associate
  • Provide upwards communication to the Board eg feedback from members, think-tank on strategy
  • Support the Board strategies and national office initiatives
  • Provide a succession plan for future Board members
  • Represent Governance New Zealand in the public forum ie to organisations, groups and tertiary

    Our Wellington Branch aims to offer networking opportunities and events for risk and governance professionals in the Wellington region. We would love to hear from members or non-members who are interested in our work. Please contact us to find out more.
