Nomination Guide for the Women in Governance Awards 2022

The Women in Governance Awards, hosted by Women on Boards New Zealand in conjunction with Governance New Zealand, has advocated on its purpose of increasing gender diversity on boards by recognising inspiring women who are governance leaders, directors, change-makers, and rising stars within their community and organisations.

    Key Dates:

    Awards Evening Gala Dinner: August 4, 2022 at the Banquet Hall in Parliament in Wellington.


    Entry Process

    You have the option to submit a manual nomination or apply online.


    Manual nomination process

    Step 1:

    Choose which category you want to self-nominate or nominate someone for an award. 

    Download the form on the selected category page.

    Step 2:

    Once your application is ready and complete, send your nomination form along with all supporting documents (mentioned in the form) to awards@governancenz.org


    Online nomination process

    Step 1:

    Create an account with Governance NZ HERE.

    Step 2:

    Choose which category you want to self-nominate or nominate someone for the award.

    Complete nomination application on the individual category page.

    Note: Once you start a nomination application, you cannot pause or have the option to save your progress. So please have all information ready before you begin.

    Please ensure you complete all fields on the form, as once you have submitted the nomination, it cannot be changed.

    Step 3:

    Submit application.
