The Ministry for Ethnic Communities is the chief advisor to the government on ethnic diversity and inclusion in New Zealand society. They provide information, advice and services to ethnic communities in New Zealand, and administer funds to support community development and social cohesion.
They work with a wide variety of groups and agencies to champion community needs, work directly in support of ethnic communities, and manage funds and programmes to help ensure everyone, regardless of ethnicity, feels valued and fully included in society.
