Do you believe in achieving equality by elevating women in governance and leadership? If so, consider becoming an Executive Committee member of New Zealand’s foremost not-for-profit organisation that is focused on gender equality - Women on Boards New Zealand.
Women on Boards has been in operation since 2012 and became part of Governance New Zealand in 2015. We are seeking applications from women who are passionate about helping to achieve our mission – to educate, develop, connect and support women in their governance and leadership journey.
Ideally you will be experienced in governance and be enthusiastic and action orientated. You will have experience working with sponsors and appreciate the complexities of revenue diversification. You may also have experience in PR, marketing, and social media.
In addition to governance, you will also be able to leverage your networks and provide hands-on strategic leadership and support for our small Auckland based operations team.
Our seven member pro bono Executive Committee meets five times per year (either face-to-face in Auckland or by Skype), and the commitment from each committee member averages around 4 hours per week.
If you would like to be instrumental in making a difference for women in New Zealand and be part of an organisation that is focused on achieving its growth strategy, please send your cover letter (no more than 200 words) and CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
