DANEL LE ROUX
The Corporate Governance course allows me to uphold and apply high standards of governance practice and ethical behaviour in my role as Companies Office Registrar at KPMG. Studying through Governance NZ will enable me to improve my skills and knowledge which in turn will allow me to provide a professional service to clients. The knowledge and information available at Governance NZ has been incredible and I appreciate the flexibility the course allows for me to study around my career and lifestyle.
Coming from an Engineering background, I have found that the theme of governance has become more prominent as I have pushed into the Project and Programme Management world. The primary reason for taking the course is so that I can round off my knowledge in areas which I would not have studied formally as an Engineer and which can help me to understand the governance in the organisations I am delivering work for. The course has been very interesting and challenging to date and I am certain that it will help me to improve as a professional.
