Bill Ross

Bill is currently a self-employed business consultant and company Director. He currently runs his own consulting business which includes business advisory, accounting and board governance. He has previously been a partner in a firm of Chartered Accountants in London, been in various financial and general management roles and has spent the last fifteen years in a business advisory capacity. He has had experience in CA practices, importing and distribution, FMCG, logistics and freight forwarding, produce exporting and also in public floats and the sale and acquisition of private businesses. Bill is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He has been involved in teaching Auditing, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Finance, Strategy and International Business at under-graduate and post-graduate level at various tertiary institutions. He has also been involved in delivering MBA modules for both Henley Management College (UK) in New Zealand, Hong Kong and South Africa, the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology. He is closely involved with CAANZ’s professional accounting qualifications, being a workshop facilitator, examiner and examination marker as well as preparing study materials on various accounting topics.

Bill is the Finance Facilitator for our 3-Day Effective Director Programme and is one of our teaching faculty for the International Chartered Governance Programme.
