Amanda Neemia Manager, Nominations Service, Corporate Services, Ministry for Women.

The Nomination Service is the principal advisor on governance and appointments to the Minister for Women. The state sector currently has women’s representation of 45% and Amanda’s team provides advice on appointments to state sector boards and committees. The team also connects opportunities for women with private sector governance experience to the public sector boards appointment process.

Amanda leads a number of pieces of work relating to governance and developing women within the leadership pipeline in the public sector. She has a strong background in education and leadership and has had a varied career working across the public, private, and NGO sectors.
