organisations at scales from small companies to multinational corporations. She
has undertaken research into the security of network technologies, and novel
offense and defense techniques.

an inclusive event for cyber security education. She has become
involved with promoting diversity, particularly the involvement of women and
LBGTQIA+ people, in internet and computer security spaces.
Cyber Security is becoming ever more relevant and, to many, more frightening. It seems like every day a thing we have come to rely on for life and business cannot be trusted. In such a fast moving and adversarial environment how can a business survive, let alone thrive? Security, like business, is about more than just technology - and so is governance. Both come down to managing people, resources and risk.
In this discussion, Kate will draw out some lessons and insights from unexpected places to have you thinking about business, cyber security, and diversity in a new light.
