The Success Agenda: What it takes to be great!

The rules of the game of life and business are changing. In a world where uncertainty and chaos are constant, where talent and clients are more cynical, more savvy and much more selective than ever we are being challenged to redefine leadership, culture and brand.

Sue Lindsay, TakeAction Ltd

Sue Lindsay is an award winning business leader with an array of New Zealand and international awards behind her.

Her career has taken her from running the family farm in Southland to the leadership of a Top 200 New Zealand organisation where she is directly credited with master minding growth strategies that increased revenues by over 200% in less than five years. Since retiring from her corporate career Sue has become one of the country’s most popular business speakers, she is a Master Executive Coach and retained by leaders in NZ and beyond as a mentor and strategist. In a return to leadership Sue is now the co-founder and Chief Executive of Think Actual and insights and strategy consultancy. Not only is Think Actual’s research at the cutting edge of talent and market insight, it has enabled Sue to also work alongside some of the world’s most highly regarded business thought leaders including Tom Peters, Dr Lance Secretan and to work on a collaboration with the Gen Y Project in the US. Sue’s extensive governance experience extends to regional sport, the arts and agribusiness. She was on the first Board of SOE Genesis Power and is currently a Director of Ashburton Trading Society.

Sue's passion for and commitment to advancing the role of women in New Zealand business and leadership is evidenced in her ongoing research project The Feminine Perspective and her collaboration with The Bank of New Zealand in delivering her A Woman in Business programme to over 5,000 women across the country.

With all of this Sue has the singular purpose of inspiring greatness in the world one person, one organisation at a time and creating a simple actionable agenda for meaningful success in life, leadership and business in today’s chaotic context.
