The Ministry for Women is the Government’s principal advisor on achieving better results for women, and wider New Zealand.
The Nominations Service supports women into governance positions within the state sector, by providing the names of suitable candidates for board positions to government agencies which appoint to state sector boards.
The Ministry works closely with a number of government agencies that appoint to boards across a range of sectors, providing candidates for board vacancies matched to specified skills, backgrounds and levels of experience.
