Lee Gardiner

General Manager – Transformation and Social Infrastructure, Citycare Property


Lee Gardiner is an experienced executive leader with 20+ years of senior management experience, predominantly in the HR, people and culture transformation space, including health and safety and change management. Since gaining her law degree from the University of Canterbury, Lee has held senior people, culture, marketing, and operations roles in a wide range of publicly listed, government and privately held organisations.

Passionate about organisational success through robust people practices, strong engagement programmes and supporting the leaders of today whilst building the leaders of tomorrow, Lee is a strategic thinker, a strong executor, a high-performance team builder and an energy generator. Lee is Ngāti Tūwharetoa and is a champion for Māori development and achievement, equity, and inclusion and is an ally of the LGBTQA community.

Lee has commenced her governance career as an Associate Director on the Citycare Board of Directors before joining them full-time in 2022. Lee is currently the General Manager of Transformation and Social Infrastructure at Citycare Property.


Jo Cribb

Consultant

Jo is a Women in Governance Award winner receiving the award for Not-for-Profit Governance Leader in 2021. An experienced consultant who has led a variety of projects and assignments, Jo is regularly asked to facilitate strategy sessions with leadership teams, coach emerging leaders and lead substantial policy, strategy and gender projects. Recent assignments include evaluating Sport NZ's gender equity in governance policy, leading sessions at APEC 2023 on gender equality in customs and border agencies, working with the New Zealand Defence Force's leadership team on the gender diversity of the forces, and completing a gender analysis of immigration policy. Jo was the previous Chief Executive of the Ministry for Women. One of the youngest Chief Executives ever appointed in the New Zealand Public Service, she has invested her time and energy in advancing the cause of the vulnerable in society, spearheading some of the most difficult issues of our time, including child abuse, child poverty, family violence and vulnerable women. Sarah Attwood

Partner, Financial Advisory Services, PwC New Zealand

Sarah is passionate about working with clients to understand the impact of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors on their business, and assisting with the design and implementation of ESG strategies to create sustainable outcomes. Tax has an important role to play in this area, particularly in the context of tax governance and transparency reporting, executive remuneration, transfer pricing and broader implications of greenhouse gas emission reduction targets.

Sarah has spent the last decade working with a variety of clients across a range of industries including technology, construction, retail, beauty and agriculture. She has international experience, having worked both in New Zealand and the UK, where she provides tax compliance and consulting services on a range of matters, such as tax structuring (both domestic and cross-border), business transactions and indirect tax, including GST and FBT reviews.

As parents to two young boys, Sarah and her husband David often spend their weekends down at the beach or local playground. They both enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it be in the garden or running on the Port Hills.


Quynh Vallance

Partner, Financial Advisory Services, PwC New Zealand

Quynh is extremely people centric and is passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse culture. She believes that people and connectedness are what drives success. She deeply values her relationships and loves the personal aspect of working collaboratively with her clients, getting to know their businesses and is highly driven by the opportunity to help her clients succeed with her practical and solutions focussed approach.

For over 10 years, Quynh has advised a variety of clients in the construction, property, shipping and infrastructure industries. She also has local government experience advising a number of council controlled organisations, as well as having spent time working at the Council.

As a tax specialist in the corporate tax team, Quynh has strong experience in both compliance and consulting, working with a wide variety of clients with a cross over between private business and corporate clients. Her clients include small to medium businesses, large corporates, trusts, charities and high net wealth individuals. She has consulted on all key aspects of tax legislation, including capital projects, charities tax law, structuring, land transactions, business transactions and indirect taxes.

Quynh has a particular focus on digital transformation and helping clients transform their finance functions through tech-enabled solutions, so they can build trust and sustainability in their compliance processes.

Together with her husband Andy, Quynh is kept busy running around after their two young daughters. On their weekends, you’ll find them with family and friends, exploring the next best picnic spot or at their lifestyle block, taking care of their veggies and contending with weeds!


Louise Green

General Manager South Island, Sheffield


Louise has over 30 years' experience in Human Resource consulting with particular expertise in executive search and selection, board appointments and organisational development projects. Louise consults and facilitates across a full spectrum of strategic and operational Human Resources including Leadership Development, Organisational Development, Talent Management, Change Leadership, and Performance Management. She also facilitates Board and CEO performance reviews.

Louise brings to her work a sound understanding of strategic practice, an entirely professional approach and the experience, initiative and commercial acumen to really make a difference. She is an experienced HR professional who has capably operated within a diverse range of roles and companies including corporate, educational, retail & property management, local government and community services throughout New Zealand.

Louise brings a wealth of practical Organisational Development and Leadership experience to Sheffield, having previously held the roles of Regional Manager Sport Canterbury, Project Manager NZ Institute of Sport, Training Manager Christchurch Casino, Organisational Development Manager for City Care and gaining significant management and business experience as the Centre Manager for Westfield Riccarton Mall, including managing the $80m redevelopment in 2008/09.

When she’s not working, Louise enjoys cycling, walking in the hills and exploring some of the great South Island trails on her e-gravel bike.
