Governance New Zealand operates five branches throughout New Zealand. Each branch has a committee comprising of local members who organise events and provide support in their respective region.
Purpose

Represent the face of Governance New Zealand to local members and be available to support them
Organise local events eg CPD, AGM,
networking and social
Develop contact networks for potential members
– professional entry, fellow and associate
Provide upwards communication to the Board eg feedback from members, think-tank on strategy
Support the Board strategies and national
office initiatives
Provide a succession plan for future Board
members
Represent Governance New Zealand in the public forum ie to
organisations, groups and tertiary
