Guidelines for participation in social media

Governance New Zealand currently has an active presence on the LinkedIn platform and we really appreciate it when you contribute your thoughts, experiences, expertise and feedback which provide an excellent way for us to connect with you, and vice-versa.

We welcome and encourage your involvement. It’s a great way to keep up to date with news, developments and issues arising in the continually evolving world of governance, compliance and risk management while providing an excellent platform for connecting with your peers and experts to expand your professional networks.

To help our vibrant online community to flourish, all comments are reviewed and subject to the following guidelines:

  • No private or confidential information is to be disclosed
  • No inappropriate content or personal attacks to be posted
  • Participation needs to be relevant to the topic, and helpful to the community
  • Be courteous and respectful to community members
  • All contributors should be transparent and not post misleading or false information
  • Our social media channels are not to be used as an opportunity for excessive means of self-promotion
